Service provider for the Bundeswehr
Mission
The Federal Republic of Germany Office of Defence Administration, France is headquartered in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, has a regional service in Evreux and branch offices in Fontainebleau and Le Luc. Together, they ensure the administrative and economic support of all Bundeswehr service members, agencies and other facilities located in France. As for German personnel stationed in Spain, this task is performed by the regional service in Madrid, and for personnel in Portugal, by the regional service in Lisbon.
The duties and responsibilities assumed are basically those of a Bundeswehr service centre. Besides, the Office of Defence Administration represents the Bundeswehr in various legal and administrative matters vis-à-vis Host Nation and NATO authorities.
