During a two-day online conference, the team around the Director, Brigadier, Medical Corps, Dr Stefan Kowitz brought the international participants from altogether 18 countries and institutions up to speed.

"The work-intensive days of planning in recent weeks were worth it", Lieutenant Colonel Andreas Godau, head of the planning team, expresses his satisfaction. He presented to the international participants the scenario forming the exercise framework and subsequently explained the objectives of the exercise.

Broad approval of the concept

Bringing the event to a conclusion, Brigadier, Medical Corps, Dr Kowitz, Director MMCCMultinational Medical Coordination Centre/EMCEuropean Medical Command, expressed his thanks for the excellent work done by his entire team and his delight "that our project has met with broad approval in this large audience – but there is still a lot of work for us all to do."

MMCCMultinational Medical Coordination Centre/EMCEuropean Medical Command must now translate the results of the conference into action and develop the existing rough framework into a complete exercise with detailed scenario by the start of the exercise in November, during which MMCCMultinational Medical Coordination Centre/EMCEuropean Medical Command intends to prove its capabilities itself.
